I was at 199 even this morning!
I missed my first day of work yesterday 😦 due to a stomach bug of some sort. 12 hours of unrelenting gut issues was no fun. Olivia came in my room around lunch and asked if I could take her to school because I was boring. At least I know she likes going there a little, lol!
I felt much better today and went on into work. It was also my first pay day which has made the last 3 weeks worth it to pay off another $500 in debt! We have big goals this year and I am determined to make it! We paid off a total of $1091 in debt during January. Our goal for February is $1500 (not including tax money (who knows still waiting on paperwork) or a pension payout I am supposed to receive on Feb 1 from a job I had before I had Olivia)
So since I was sick yesterday I didn’t eat much at all. I managed to eat crackers last night. Today I had an apple, a ham and cheese sandwich, and a large bowl of stew.
Again I have not exercised this week because I have been sick. Please oh please let this sickness come to an end!
Yesterday I managed 1210 steps between the bed and the bathroom; however I made up for it today at 15097 steps. I worked on deep cleaning our kitchen tonight after work. I moved the fridge and stove; I also mopped the floor on my hands and knees. I am feeling like our house is really dirty so I am going to work on deep cleaning tomorrow too.
Tim came home to me in my crazed state of cleaning mode and laughed saying if you are pregnant I won’t be surprised in the least you got this way when you got pregnant with Olivia too.
It gave me a good laugh and I told him I need him home more often if baby number 2 is to head this way anytime soon!
It’s been a few days. I feel like crap still and now Olivia isn’t feeling well either.
I haven’t eaten much in the last few days. Protien Bars for breakfast, whatever the school is serving for lunch:

YEA I did it! I am under 200!
Like I said yesterday this was quite a shocker for me because I felt like I ate like crap all week. Then I sat back and said well I did great each day until dinner. I had either a protein shake or bar for breakfast. Then I had a salad with grilled chicken 4 days. One day I had about 1/2 cup of pasta at the child care center in addition to the salad and on the other day I had 1 hot dog and 2 onion rings. However I blew it at dinner:
Monday – we had a chicken casserole dish
Tuesday – Pizza
Wednesday – Subway
Thursday – Pad Thai (that was gross).
Friday – nothing.
Yesterday: I had Chick-fil-a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, a small fry and a coke and then for dinner Marie made an amazing chicken parmsean, with baked potato, green beans and asparagus (that I actually liked). I also had a small portion of chocolate cake.
Today: I had an in and out burger with a few fries for lunch (yea Tim is home and it was his choice). For dinner we had a Mom’s Night Out at church. They served pizza and salad. I had probably the equivalent of 2 slices of veggie pizza (they were cut in tiny squares). I had some salad and one cookie.
Overall I feel like I had a crappy week. I felt horrible, Tim was gone (read Olivia and I slept like crud), and I am still trying to adjust to work. I planned meals that required WAY to much work thus I ate out. This week I planned not amazingly healthy meals but they require very little work so at least I will eat at home.

Overall not so bad this week. I don’t think I will hit my goal of 310,000 steps for the month because I would have to go over 13,600 a day for the rest of the month. If I ever get over this sinus junk then I will hit the gym again. It has been two weeks of blah and I need to get to feeling better.
I will try to post regularly this week, but I make no promises. As it is week # 2 without Tim and a very full work week still feeling all stuffed up. I pray a big storm comes through and knocks out the inversion.
I will post more tomorrow. And update basically for the whole week. It has been crazy between work, tim being gone, and not feeling well.
I was dreading getting on the scale this morning due to some poor decisions throughout the week. Needless to say I was very shocked to see a loss when I expected a 2-3 lb gain.
Sorry for the lack of posting this week, I will try to do better next week. Tim is almost home… only for a day, but I’ll take what I can get.
Sorry I did not post yesterday; I am not feeling great and by the time I get done at work I am very drained. Tim is gone this week for work so its a 40 hour work week and all parental and house responsibilities are on me. YEA! I feel very sorry for single parents; it isn’t easy!
Yesterday meal choices
Brunch – at mops (didn’t make the best choices) I had 2 chicken minis and 1/4 of a bagel along with fruit and veggies! I also had a chocolate chip cookie which was worth every bite!
Dinner I swung through Little Caesars after work (woo) wasn’t super proud about this but I was at a -5 on the energy tank and the thought of cooking and then having to clean the kitchen wasn’t happening.
Today I made better choices.
Breakfast – protein bar
Lunch – salad w/ grilled chicken
Dinner – Subway turkey and ham w/ baked cheddar and sour cream chips.
I had a CPR / First Aid training class tonight. I passed with 100% so I am now certified. It was also the last of the training that I am required to get within my first 30 days of employment.
Olivia went to Marie’s (thank you) and had dinner and played with her girls. She also got her first temporary tattoos (I am not a fan of them!) Her and Katie put 3 on and I took 2 off when we got home. She chose to keep the butterflies on her hand.
Right now I am liking work, if I could ever get over this cold then I think I’d be good. Head congestion with severe head aches and mixing with little kids is rough! I have a few things to do for MOPS provided my sleeping pills don’t kick in first and I have to pay a couple bills.
Please pray that I can get a grasp of the new schedule and get to feeling better so that I can get back on track with eating right and exercise.

Sorry I haven’t posted in the last couple of days. I came home Friday night and went straight to bed. I felt really bad.
Yesterday was not much better. I managed to make a grocery plan for this week, but that was all. I had a biscuit for breakfast and Tim took Olivia to chick fil a to get out of the house since I hadn’t left bed all day. He brought back an 8 count nugget and some fries.
Today, I didn’t get out of bed til 10:30, but then we went to the grocery store. I had a spicy McChicken for lunch while shopping. Then I came home and prepped all the food for this week and cleaned up the apartment. We are still working on getting laundry caught up.
I weighed in this morning at 202 even. I am okay with this number. I haven’t eaten great this week and I have not worked out at all. I hope I can get back on track this week.
For dinner tonight Tim grilled a flank steak and I made roasted potatoes and broccoli. I also made a spinach, strawberry, and pecan salad. It was all delicious, but I didn’t add up the calories.
Last week was an adjustment for the whole family to have me back at work. I felt like it all went pretty smoothly. I am worried about the next two weeks since Tim will leave tomorrow and only be home on Sunday the 18th.
Steps for the month: 67579 I should be at 110,000. I need to walk 12122 a day to reach my goal by the end of January. Hoping I start to feel better so I can get in a few workouts too.
