The mountains were swirling with clouds this morning and I knew there was a storm moving in so I planned for Olivia and I to go to Jungle Jim’s and spend most of the day so she would be able to take a late nap so she can stay up late because we have to go get Tim from the airport.

She is my adrenaline junkie; she loved the roller coaster and the airplane rides. All the excitement wore her out!

I made grilled cheese and tomato soup tonight.  My milk being spoiled saved me some calories because I had to make the soup with water instead (I prefer it with milk).  I also use the chips as crackers, I like it this way!  I made one sandwich only which is a big step since usually I eat at least 2.  Small win for the day!

Day 26, September 27th

I am posting so late because I was up talking to a friend and we frequently get carried away in conversations that last til wee hours in the morning.  Thank you Sarah, I needed it this week has been rough, today especially.  Tim’s flight was cancelled due to a fire in an FAA tower in Chicago so he will not be home until late Saturday night.  My lovely two year old has really missed daddy this week and does not understand why the calendar says daddy is coming home and he isn’t here.  So with all the uncertainty today I ate like crap, why cause I am an emotional eater. AND as hard as it is when I can’t control things I eat and it makes me some what happy until I realize I have to write this down and admit how much crap I ate today.

Today I was on my A game.  I got the checkbook balanced and paid some bills. I also ate great for the most part and kept the calories low.  Olivia wanted to go to the pool this afternoon so I used the opportunity to get in a workout.  40 minutes 1.82 miles and 214 calories burned off.

2 more days til Tim is home!  Olivia is asking every night if we can go get daddy from the airport.  Through the back cramping today I forced myself over to the gym and walked for 34 minutes for a distance of 1.61 miles and burned 186 calories.  8/10 workouts complete for September.

I too believe that we are to critical of ourselves as women and mothers.  This hit home with me especially now as I struggle to make better choices so that I can become healthier.

All the water today, this has become easy for me though I still pee every 15minutes.  I didn’t manage to get up early enough to eat breakfast prior to going to MOPS this morning, but I made good decisions while there and stuck to a reasonable calorie count.
